Role Description The Geologist will work full time in a hybrid role based in the Pune Division, combining on-site project work with some work-from-home tasks such as data analysis and reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting field investigations, supervising drilling and sampling activities, logging boreholes, and performing geological mapping to support geotechnical and geophysical studies. The role involves interpreting subsurface conditions, assisting in slope stability assessments, and supporting packer permeability tests, pile load tests, and related geotechnical instrumentation activities. The Geologist will prepare technical reports, collaborate with engineers and project managers,



and contribute to the planning and execution of site investigations while adhering to safety and quality standards. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong field work skills, including experience with site investigations and sample collection.
• Candidates should possess logging skills for boreholes and core samples, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Candidates should possess geological mapping skills for surface and subsurface characterization.
• Candidates should possess geophysics skills for applying and interpreting geophysical methods in geotechnical contexts.
• Candidates should possess drilling-related skills, including supervising or coordinating drilling operations for geotechnical projects.
• Relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, or a related earth science field.
• Ability to interpret geological and geotechnical data, prepare clear technical reports, and use basic geoscience software tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, with commitment to safety standards and field best practices.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within the Pune Division and adapt to varying field conditions.
