Role Description The Unit Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for managing and guiding a sales or service unit to achieve business targets, including acquisition of new customers and retention of existing ones. The Unit Manager oversees day-to-day team operations, monitors performance metrics, and ensures adherence to company processes and regulatory requirements. The role involves coaching and inspiring team members, conducting regular reviews,



and coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and streamline workflows. The Unit Manager also contributes to local market development, supports partner relationships, and identifies opportunities to improve unit productivity and service quality. Qualifications
• Strong team leadership and people management skills, with experience in supervising and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in sales planning, target achievement, and portfolio management, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Ability to analyze performance data, track key metrics, and drive operational improvements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for working with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of health insurance concepts, regulatory guidelines, and customer service best practices (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office, and digital platforms to manage unit activities and reporting.
• Proactive, result-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment in Mumbai.
