## The Role This is a front-line business development role. Your mandate is simple to state and hard to do well: find current overseas buyers, and convert them into repeat orders. You will not be managing an existing account book. You will be building one. --

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation
- Identify and research new markets, importers, distributors, project buyers and retail chains across target geographies
- Build an outbound pipeline through trade portals, buyer databases, export data, LinkedIn, trade bodies and agent networks
- Represent Boffo at international exhibitions and trade fairs (Cersaie, Coverings, The Big 5, Index, Cevisama and regional shows) and convert footfall into active enquiries Conversion & Order Closure
- Handle enquiries end to end: product selection, sampling, quotation, negotiation and order confirmation
- Prepare and issue quotations and Proforma Invoices on FOB, CFR and CIF terms
- Negotiate price, payment terms, lead time and container loading plans
- Follow up relentlessly — most export orders are won on the fifth follow-up, not the first Account Development
- Convert first trial orders into repeat business
- Maintain structured records of every enquiry, quotation and order in CRM
- Monitor competitor pricing and market movement in your assigned regions Export Coordination
- Coordinate with the documentation team on Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin and buyer-specific requirements
- Track shipments and keep buyers informed from booking through delivery
- Work with production and dispatch to ensure committed lead times are met Reporting
- Report pipeline, conversion rate and order value to management with real numbers, not impressions --
- ## What We're Looking For Essential




- Minimum 2 years' experience in export sales or export marketing, preferably in ceramic tiles, sanitaryware or allied building materials
- Working knowledge of the ceramic industry — product types (GVT, PGVT, double charge, wall tiles, subway, parking), sizes, finishes, grades, packing norms and container loadability
- Understanding of international tile markets — who buys what, at what price point, in which region
- Working knowledge of export documentation — PI, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, and basic familiarity with Incoterms and payment terms (LC, TT, DP, DA)
- Excellent spoken and written English — you will be the first impression of this company to buyers who have never heard of us
- Willingness to travel internationally for exhibitions and buyer visits
- Based at or willing to relocate to Morbi, Gujarat Preferred
- Additional language ability — Spanish, Arabic, French, Russian or Portuguese is a strong advantage
- Existing buyer contacts in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, CIS, Southeast Asia or Europe
- Comfort with CRM and structured pipeline tracking
- Degree or diploma in International Business, Marketing or Foreign Trade The temperament that works here
- Self-starting. Nobody will hand you a lead list.
- Thick-skinned on follow-up. Export cycles are long.
- Honest in reporting. We would rather hear a deal is cold than hear it is "almost closed" for six months. --
