Role Description The Sr. Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The person in this role will identify and develop business opportunities for electromechanical products and solutions in the water and wastewater sector, including pumps, valves, instrumentation, and electrical systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients and EPC contractors, understanding technical and commercial requirements, preparing and presenting technical proposals, and coordinating with internal engineering and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely offers. Sales Engineer will provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, participate in site visits and technical discussions, and assist in bid submissions and tender processes. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, tracking project progress, supporting order execution, and contributing to sales targets and market development initiatives. Qualifications
• Strong Sales Engineering and technical solutioning skills, with experience in electromechanical systems or water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Technical Support and application engineering, including interpreting technical specifications and providing product selection guidance.
• Solid Sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets in industrial or engineering domains.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service abilities, including clear technical presentation and relationship management with EPCs, consultants, and end users.
• Relevant engineering background (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) preferred.
• Working knowledge of pumps, valves, instrumentation, electrical panels, and related equipment for water and wastewater applications.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for SITC and project execution.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with familiarity in tendering, quotations, and basic commercial terms.
