Role Description The Account Officer role at Hathi Cement & Sidhee Cement is a full time, in office position based in Ahmedabad. The Account Officer will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling ledgers, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. This role involves monitoring transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations, and assisting in budgeting, cost tracking,



and financial reporting for management. The Account Officer will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, address customer and vendor queries related to accounts, and support audits by providing accurate documentation and analysis. The role requires maintaining organized records, using accounting and ERP software, and contributing to continuous improvement in financial processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance and experience working with Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying variances, and supporting decision-making.
- Customer Service skills to manage account-related queries from internal and external stakeholders and maintain professional relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to prepare clear reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced skills in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation basics, and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing or construction industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent) are an advantage.
