Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Mechanical Engineer will design and optimize rock drilling tools, components, and equipment, ensuring robustness, modularity, and field serviceability. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing mechanical drawings and CAD models, performing calculations and simulations, collaborating with manufacturing and service teams, and supporting application engineering for customer projects. The role involves participating in R&D; activities, testing prototypes in field-like conditions,



analyzing performance data, and implementing design improvements. The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to project planning, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to apply core principles to drilling tools and heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and related analysis for robust, modular, and field-serviceable mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, detailing, and revision control.
• Capability in Project Management to plan tasks, track progress, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines.
• Exposure to Research and Development (R&D;), including prototyping, testing, data analysis, and continuous product improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials for rock drilling applications, and quality standards.
• Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with design, production, and service teams, and for technical documentation.
• Experience in mining, drilling equipment, or heavy machinery sectors is an advantage.
