A little imagination can change the shape of things. We happen to believe in a lot of it. At StAncil, we're creating a world of children's furniture, rugs, curious characters, and everyday things with a little more imagination. We're looking for a Product Designer who sees possibilities in the ordinary, isn't afraid to experiment, and loves turning unusual ideas into things people can actually use. What you'll be doing:
• Coming up with fresh product ideas for furniture, decor, and everyday objects.
• Developing concepts, sketches, and designs that bring StAncil's characters and imagination to life.
• Exploring forms, colours, materials, textures, and playful details.
• Creating 3D models, technical drawings, and product renders.
• Working closely with the textile and creative teams to build collections that feel connected.
• Taking ideas from the first rough sketch to a finished, production-ready product.
• Researching design trends, materials, and recent possibilities in children's products. What we'd love you to bring:




• A creative mind that enjoys thinking beyond conventional shapes and forms.
• A strong understanding of product design, proportions, materials, and functionality.
• The ability to sketch, conceptualise, and translate ideas into tangible designs.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Rhino, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Fusion 360, or similar.
• An eye for colours, details, and the little things that make a product special.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to try things that haven't been done before.
• Experience in furniture, product, or industrial design is a plus. A portfolio that shows your thought process, experiments, and ideas is even better.
