bout the Office of Lifelong Learning Nayanta University’s Office of Lifelong Learning (OLL) is built on a simple premise: meaningful education should not end with a degree. As people progress through their careers and lives, they encounter new questions—about leadership, technology, institutions, society, their professions and themselves. OLL seeks to create opportunities for adults to return to serious learning at different stages of their lives. The Office is developing programmes for varied audiences, including senior and emerging corporate leaders, business families, professionals seeking to deepen or redirect their careers, and adults wishing to engage seriously with disciplines and ideas they may not have had the opportunity to study earlier. Its flagship offering, Navigating the World: A Leadership Journey, reflects Nayanta’s distinctive approach to lifelong learning: multidisciplinary, intellectually rigorous, reflective, and grounded in the belief that skilled expertise becomes more valuable when complemented by a broader understanding of the world. As OLL expands its portfolio, we are looking for someone who can help us understand the market, build enduring institutional relationships, identify new learning needs and create a strong pipeline for the Office. The Role The Director – Lifelong Learning Partnerships will lead OLL’s outreach, partnerships and business development efforts. This is not a conventional sales role. The person will need to understand how organisations think about learning and leadership development, engage senior business and HR/L&D; leaders in substantive conversations about their needs, and identify where Nayanta can create meaningful learning interventions. The role will combine market intelligence, relationship building, consultative business development and revenue responsibility. The person will work closely with OLL leadership, Nayanta faculty and external partners to translate emerging learning needs into programmes and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
• Own revenue for OLL.

Build and manage a credible annual and multi-year pipeline for OLL, establish outreach and conversion processes, track opportunities systematically, and work towards agreed enrolment and revenue goals without compromising the academic character of Nayanta’s programmes.
• Build institutional partnerships. Develop sustained relationships with corporations, industry bodies and other institutions across sectors. Engage CHROs, L&D; leaders, business heads and senior leadership teams to understand their talent, leadership and organisational learning priorities. Build the OLL programme pipeline. Introduce organisations to Nayanta’s flagship programmes, identify appropriate participants and institutional partners, and take responsibility for building a healthy pipeline from initial conversations through enrolment and partnership.
• Identify custom learning opportunities. Move beyond selling existing programmes to understand an organisation’s context and identify areas where Nayanta could design customised interventions. Work with faculty and programme teams to translate these needs into thoughtful learning propositions.
• Understand the learning market. Undertake systematic research into the present and emerging learning needs of organisations across industries. Develop an understanding of training budgets, decision-making cycles, seasonality, procurement processes, willingness to pay, competing offerings and changing priorities in executive and continuing education.
• Develop new markets for lifelong learning. Explore audiences beyond employer-sponsored executive education. This could include entrepreneurs, professionals in transition, family
- business members,

independent professionals and adults seeking intellectual exploration, new capabilities or alternative careers. The role should help OLL understand who the lifelong learner of the future might be and what would bring them back to a university.
• Build market intelligence into programme development. Regularly bring insights from prospective learners, companies and the wider market back to the OLL team. Help identify gaps in the existing market and inform decisions about new programmes, formats, audiences, pricing and partnerships. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a mid
- to senior-level professional who combines commercial judgement with genuine curiosity about education. Someone with over 15 years of experience. The person should have substantial experience in one or more relevant areas is desirable executive education, learning and development, talent development, higher education, consulting, professional services, corporate partnerships or consultative business development. They should understand how organisations make decisions about learning investments and be comfortable engaging senior executives as peers. Equally important is the ability to understand and articulate Nayanta’s philosophy of lifelong learning. The person should be able to engage deeply with a programme before taking it to the market, communicate its intellectual purpose without reducing it to a sales pitch, and listen carefully enough to distinguish a genuine learning need from a request for another training programme. The role requires someone who can open doors and build trust, but also research, listen, diagnose, follow through and convert ideas into sustainable partnerships. Above all, we are looking for someone excited by the opportunity to help build a new lifelong learning institution—not merely to find a market for programmes that already exist, but to help Nayanta understand what adults and organisations will need to learn next, and how a university can respond meaningfully to that need.
