Role Description The PU Slipper Designer will be responsible for designing and developing PU slippers, from concept sketches to production-ready models, aligned with brand aesthetics and market trends. This full-time on-site role, based in Unnao, involves creating design specifications, selecting materials, working closely with production teams, and ensuring quality and comfort standards. The designer will research fashion trends and consumer preferences, prepare technical drawings, and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing staff to translate designs into scalable production. Daily tasks include reviewing samples, refining designs based on feedback, maintaining design documentation, and collaborating with marketing to present collections effectively.



The role requires practical involvement on the factory floor to monitor fit, finish, and durability of PU slipper designs. Qualifications
• Ability to design PU slippers, including concept development, pattern making, and basic knowledge of footwear construction.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar CAD software) and hand sketching for footwear concepts.
• Understanding of materials and processes related to PU, soles, linings, and industrial or lifestyle footwear manufacturing.
• Robust sense of aesthetics, color, and trends, with the ability to align designs to brand identity and target customer preferences.
• Attention to detail in fit, comfort, durability, and quality control of finished footwear products.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, sourcing, and marketing teams on-site.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects, meet production timelines, and adapt to fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Diploma or degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in footwear or PU slipper design, especially in a factory or industrial setting, will be an added advantage.
