Role Description The Trainer – Guest Service Associate (Housekeeping) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gyalshing. The trainer will deliver classroom and practical sessions on guest service and housekeeping standards, including room preparation, cleanliness, hygiene, and use of housekeeping equipment and materials. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, demonstrating housekeeping procedures, monitoring trainee performance, and providing constructive feedback. The trainer will also assess trainee competencies, maintain training records, coordinate with local hospitality partners for exposure or placements, and ensure that all training follows organizational guidelines and industry norms.



The role involves mentoring learners from diverse backgrounds and promoting a secure, inclusive, and professional learning environment. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, guest room standards, cleaning procedures, and use of housekeeping tools and chemicals.
• Experience in guest service, basic front-of-house etiquette, and understanding of hospitality industry norms and customer satisfaction practices.
• Effective training and facilitation skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and practical demonstration of skills.
• Good communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to learners with varied educational backgrounds.
• Ability to mentor and motivate youth from marginalized communities, with a patient, empathetic, and inclusive approach.
• Basic computer literacy for maintaining training records, preparing learning materials, and reporting.
• Prior experience in hospitality or vocational training is highly desirable.
• Relevant certification or diploma in Hotel Management, Housekeeping, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
