Role Description The Software Quality Assurance Tester at THE GIMBAL is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves designing and executing test cases for web-based and backend systems, validating new features, and performing regression, functional, and integration testing to ensure software reliability. The tester will document defects, collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing requirements, preparing test plans,



maintaining test documentation, and participating in review meetings to ensure high-quality software releases that meet user and compliance needs. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust Test Execution skills, including creating, running, and documenting manual and automated test cases.
• Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of Software Quality, with experience ensuring reliability, performance, and usability across releases.
• Candidates should have a background in Quality Assurance and Software Quality Assurance, including defect management and test planning.
• Candidates should bring strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience with QA tools (e.g., test management and bug tracking systems) and familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies is beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are important.
• Experience testing SaaS products, web applications, or healthcare-related software is an advantage.
