Role Description The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for driving business growth and expanding Standard Petro India’s footprint in the petroleum retail market. The BDM will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with fuel station owners and partners, and present tailored service solutions that align with client needs. Daily responsibilities include market research, lead generation, client meetings, proposal development, and negotiation of commercial terms. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, monitoring client satisfaction,



and providing regular performance reports and insights to management. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust business development and sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Candidates should possess relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build long-term partnerships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Candidates should possess market research, analysis, and strategic planning skills to identify growth opportunities and develop effective go-to-market strategies.
• Candidates should possess communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in preparing proposals, reports, and client pitches.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
• Relevant experience in petroleum retail, FMCG, or service-based industries is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfort with travel within the region and a valid means of transport are advantageous.
