SoLit Coffee Studio, Whitefied, is looking for a passionate and creative Bakery Chef to join our team We are a speciality coffee studio built around good coffee, conversations, thoughtfully curated food and a relaxed, earthy atmosphere. We want someone who sees baking as both a craft and an opportunity to create something special. What will you be doing?
• Prepare and develop a range of bakery products including cakes, brownies, cookies, tarts, muffins and other desserts.
• Experiment with flavours, textures and presentation to create signature products for SoLit.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality and presentation.
• Work on seasonal dessert specials and new product development.
• Manage daily bakery production, preparation and inventory.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety and kitchen organisation.
• Work closely with the kitchen and coffee teams to create engaging food and coffee pairings. What are we looking for?
• 1–4 years of experience in a bakery, pâtisserie, café or professional kitchen.
• Good understanding of baking fundamentals and ingredients.




• Hands-on experience with cakes, brownies, cookies, pastries or breads.
• A creative eye and attention to detail.
• Passion for experimenting with new recipes and presentations.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily production.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn. A formal qualification in bakery or pâtisserie is an advantage, but practical skills and creativity matter more to us. What do
