Role Description The Pharmacovigilance Scientist will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting the safety of medicinal products, with a focus on evidence-based risk assessment and compliance with regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and analyzing safety data from clinical trials and post-marketing sources, preparing case reports, managing safety databases, and supporting signal detection and risk mitigation activities. The role involves close collaboration with clinical, regulatory, and medical teams to ensure timely communication of safety information and adherence to global pharmacovigilance standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India,



requiring consistent presence for cross-functional coordination, internal meetings, and potential collaboration with external partners. Qualifications
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS) or above / Master in Life Sciences (Microbiology or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Biophysics)
• Strong foundation in Medicine and Oncology to interpret clinical data and understand disease pathways and treatment-related risks.
• Proficiency in Research and Clinical Trials, including study design basics, data interpretation, and familiarity with clinical development processes.
• Hands-on Laboratory Skills relevant to pharmacovigilance, such as handling biological samples, basic assays, and data recording where applicable.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations, safety reporting guidelines, and global health authority requirements.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in safety data handling.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing safety summaries, reports, and cross-functional updates.
• Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and manage timelines in a regulated environment.
• Prior experience or training in pharmacovigilance or drug safety is an advantage. Salary Package : 4.5 LPA
