Company Description Kalya Exports is a long-established, family-run fresh fruit export company from India with over 27 years of industry experience. Based in Nashik, the company specializes in exporting table grapes and pomegranates and works closely with around 700 Global GAP–certified farmers. Kalya Exports maintains strict quality control with its own packhouses and cold storage facilities, supported by BRC, Global GAP, GRASP, and SMETA certifications. The company ships approximately 500 containers of grapes annually to markets across Europe, the U.K., Canada, Russia, China, and South-East Asia. Its products reach leading retail chains such as Aldi, Lidl, Edeka, Kaufland, Metro, and others through direct channels or trusted partners.
Role Description The Exim Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashik. The Exim Manager will oversee end-to-end export and import operations, including documentation, compliance with international trade regulations, and coordination with customs, shipping lines, and freight forwarders. The role involves managing relationships with overseas clients and partners, planning shipments, monitoring inventory levels in packhouses and cold stores, and ensuring timely dispatch of containers. The Exim Manager will collaborate with procurement, quality, and logistics teams to align export schedules with production and quality standards.



The position also includes managing risk related to international trade, optimizing freight costs, preparing periodic export performance reports, and supporting strategic expansion into new markets.
Qualifications

- Strong expertise in export-import operations, including documentation, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain coordination, covering shipment planning, container booking, and coordination with packhouses and cold stores.
- Ability to manage and maintain client and partner relationships across multiple countries and retail chains.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, INCOTERMS, payment terms (e.g., LC, TT), and risk mitigation in global commerce.
- Solid analytical and reporting skills to track export performance, freight costs, and operational efficiency.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications in Exim or logistics are an advantage.
- Prior experience in agricultural exports or fresh produce trading is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in an in office, fast-paced environment in Nashik, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
