Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to lead end-to-end IPD (Inpatient Department), Cash, Cashless, and TPA billing operations across our healthcare facility. The candidate will oversee revenue cycle management, minimize revenue leakage, ensure audit compliance, and drive operational TAT for seamless patient discharge processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

1. Billing Operations & Discharge Management

- Oversee end-to-end IPD, OPD, Cash, Corporate, PMJAY, and TPA/Insurance billing operations.
- Audit billing workflows, IPD interim bills, and final discharge summaries to eliminate missed charges and revenue leakage.
- Monitor Discharge Turnaround Time (TAT) to ensure quick bill clearance and patient satisfaction.

2. Insurance, TPA & Schemes Governance

- Coordinate closely with Insurance, TPA,



and Government Scheme desks for pre-authorization, query resolution, and final claim approvals.
- Manage tariff master updates, corporate packages, room rent slabs, and insurer-specific guidelines within the Hospital Information System (HIS).

3. Revenue Reconciliation & Audit Compliance

- Perform daily reconciliation of cash, card, UPI, and credit billing with the accounts department.
- Ensure strict adherence to discount and write-off approval matrices.
- Prepare and present monthly billing activity reports, AR aging analyses, and revenue reports for senior management.
- Lead the department through internal, statutory, and regulatory audit processes.

4. Dispute Resolution & Team Leadership

- Handle escalations regarding billing discrepancies, patient queries, or discharge delays tactfully and empathetically.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of billing supervisors, executives, and cashiers to maintain high operational productivity.
