Role Description The Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities within the plant or business unit. This position manages the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation to ensure products meet internal specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The role includes leading quality audits, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions, as well as collaborating closely with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and optimize processes. The Quality Assurance Manager also monitors key quality metrics, prepares regular performance reports,



and provides training and guidance to team members to maintain a culture of quality and safety.
Qualifications

- Strong expertise in quality management systems, standards (such as ISO), and audit practices applicable to steel or heavy manufacturing.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, including statistical process control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Solid understanding of production processes, materials, and testing methods in steel or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret quality metrics, and prepare clear, actionable reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Effective leadership skills with experience managing QA teams, coordinating with operations, and driving cross-functional problem-solving.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal stakeholders, customers, and auditors in a clear, professional manner.
- Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in a quality assurance or quality control leadership role within the steel, metals, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance requirements in large-scale industrial operations.
