Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Lead with approximately 5 years of experience, preferably in the aviation industry. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), financial reconciliations, and MIS reporting. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable (AP)

- Manage vendor invoices, bill verification, and payment processing.
- Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Maintain vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Oversee payment records and documentation.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Manage customer invoicing, billing, and collections.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Maintain customer accounts and perform ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure timely collection and accurate receivable records.

3. Accounting & Zoho Books

- Oversee daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Manage purchase bills, sales invoices, expenses, and journal entries in Zoho Books.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and documentation.

4. MIS & Financial Reporting

- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Monitor expenses, revenue, cash flow, payables, and receivables.




- Prepare AP and AR ageing reports.
- Analyse financial data and provide reports to management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

5. Finance Operations & Compliance

- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GST, TDS, and accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, auditors, and internal departments.
- Identify process improvements in finance and accounting operations.

Required Skills

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
- Good understanding of MIS reporting and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and ledger management.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates from airlines, aviation MROs, airport services, ground handling, or aviation companies.
- Ability to independently manage end-to-end finance operations.
- Robust ownership and coordination skills.
- Experience handling finance operations and reporting with minimal supervision.
