The app uses engaging, interactive, and concept-focused content to make learning more effective and accessible. Tutopia applies proven online teaching methods to support learners in building strong academic foundations. The team is committed to combining technology and pedagogy to deliver a high-quality learning experience tailored to regional curriculum needs. Role Description The Telesales Associate will work full time on-site at our Kolkata office, engaging with prospective learners and their guardians over phone calls. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining Tutopia’s learning solutions, answering queries, and providing clear information about features, pricing, and benefits. The role involves following up on leads, maintaining call records, and meeting individual and team sales targets. The Telesales Associate will collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to improve conversion rates, gather feedback from callers, and support overall enrollment growth.



Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including explicit spoken English and Bengali, active listening, and confident telephone etiquette.
• Candidates should possess sales and negotiation skills, such as lead handling, objection management, persuasion, and target-oriented selling.
• Candidates should possess customer service skills, including problem-solving, patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust with students and guardians.
• Candidates should possess basic computer and CRM skills, including data entry, familiarity with office applications, and comfort using sales or call-tracking software.
• Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include prior telesales or inside sales experience (preferably in edtech or education), knowledge of the West Bengal school curriculum, a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work flexible hours when required.
