Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Python AI Developer with experience in technology leadership, software development, cloud computing, Agile delivery, and cross-functional team collaboration. The role supports the design and delivery of technology solutions by translating business requirements into practical technical outcomes. The position combines software development expertise with technology leadership responsibilities, including team guidance, technology evaluation, roadmap development, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination. The role contributes to business objectives by improving delivery effectiveness, supporting informed technology decisions, and aligning technology initiatives with business strategy.

Software Requirements

Required Software Skills

- Python and software development technologies:Experience applying software development principles and working with relevant programming technologies. Python experience is expected for the Python AI Developer role.
- Software systems:In-depth understanding of various technologies, software systems, system integrations, and development practices.
- Project management tools:Practical experience using project management, work-tracking, planning, reporting, and collaboration tools.
- Agile methodologies:Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and iterative delivery practices.
- Software architecture and design patterns:Understanding of architecture principles, system design, reusable components, scalability, and design patterns.
- Cloud computing platforms and infrastructure:Experience with cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, deployment models, scalability, availability, and operational considerations.




- Database management systems and data structures:Knowledge of database concepts, data structures, data management, and system integration.
- Technology roadmaps:Experience developing or maintaining technology roadmaps that align with business strategy.
- Version and platform considerations:Ability to work with the software, cloud, database, AI, and project-management tool versions used by the assigned Synechron project and assess compatibility or upgrade requirements.

Preferred Software Skills

- Experience with AI, machine learning, data-processing, or intelligent automation solutions using Python.
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI and data services.
- Experience with application programming interfaces, microservices, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle, continuous integration, continuous delivery, testing, monitoring, and deployment tools.
- Experience with technology portfolio, vendor-management, contract-management, or procurement tools.
- Exposure to tools supporting data governance, model governance, security, auditability, and responsible AI practices.

Equivalent technologies and tools may be considered where they provide comparable capabilities.

- Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams involved in software development and technology initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and delivery support to team members.
- Drive technology initiatives and ensure successful delivery of projects within agreed scope, quality, timeline, and resource expectations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technology solutions.
- Apply software architecture principles and design patterns when evaluating or designing solutions.
- Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Python-based and AI-related technology solutions where applicable.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes that increase delivery efficiency, quality, reliability, and transparency.
- Evaluate recent technologies and make recommendations for adoption based on business value, technical suitability, security, sustainability, cost, and operational impact.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
- Work with project and delivery teams to track progress, manage dependencies, identify risks, and support timely decisions.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts in accordance with organizational requirements and agreed governance processes.
- Monitor technology trends, platform capabilities, development practices, and emerging AI opportunities relevant to business needs.
