About the Role
Inseureka places and services insurance programs for large corporates and infrastructure clients, with sum insureds running from hundreds to thousands of crores. We’re looking for a Claims Specialist who has settled corporate fire claims at this scale, from lakhs to multi-crore losses. You will be the client’s advocate in front of insurers, surveyors, and loss assessors. Your job is to get the client the best possible outcome, and you believe that outcome is achievable.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle for Industrial All Risk (IAR), Property All Risk (PAR), Erection All Risk (EAR), and Contractors All Risk (CAR) policies on mega-value programs
• Handle claims from lakhs to multi-crore losses, including complex heads such as stock, plant & machinery, and business interruption
• Guide clients through loss intimation, documentation, and survey coordination
• Prepare and submit well-substantiated claim files that anticipate insurer and surveyor queries
• Work with surveyors, loss assessors, and insurer claim teams on large, multi-insurer programs; negotiate and follow up until settlement
• Review policy wordings, exclusions, and conditions to build the strongest claim position
• Handle health and motor claims (cashless, reimbursement, own damage, third-party), including disputes and rejections
• Keep clients informed at every stage and advise them on claim-readiness
• Support the back end by punching closed business into our policy software and assisting with compliance filings Requirements
• Proven experience handling corporate fire claims under IAR, PAR, EAR, and CAR policies




• Track record of settling claims on sum insureds of ₹100 crore to ₹1,000+ crore, with claim values from lakhs to crores
• Working knowledge of health and motor claims processes
• Robust understanding of policy wordings, survey processes, and settlement negotiation
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong documentation skills
• Comfort with policy administration software and basic compliance filing; accuracy matters here
• Proficiency in MS Office and claims tracking tools Preferred
• Prior experience in the claims department of an insurance company (insurer)
• Underwriting knowledge, which helps in reading policies from the insurer’s side and building stronger claims
• Experience with large business interruption and consequential loss claims
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Licentiate/Associate of III, or similar) Who You Are
