Role Description The Packaging Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Sangli, responsible for overseeing all packaging operations from planning to dispatch. This role includes managing packaging lines, supervising team members, and ensuring that products are packed according to company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The Packaging Manager monitors material usage, coordinates with procurement and production teams, and maintains accurate records of packaging activities. Daily tasks include scheduling work, checking quality at various stages, optimizing workflows to reduce damage and waste, and enforcing safety and hygiene practices. The role also involves training staff,



troubleshooting operational issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications
• Experience managing packaging operations, including supervision of teams and coordination with production and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, methods, and equipment, with the ability to optimize usage and reduce waste.
• Skills in quality control, inspection, and adherence to packaging standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to plan workloads, schedule shifts, and manage inventory of packaging supplies effectively.
• Competence in documenting processes, maintaining reports, and using basic computer tools (e.g., spreadsheets, ERP or inventory systems).
• Understanding of safety, hygiene, and workplace compliance practices within packaging or manufacturing environments.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, including the ability to train staff and resolve issues on the shop floor.
• Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or export operations; a diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., packaging technology, industrial engineering, or related discipline) is an advantage.
