Role & responsibilities :
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Supervise daily storehouse operations, including the handling, labelling, and organization of materials.
- Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain the quality and safety of materials.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead, train, and develop storehouse staff.
- Identify and implement improvements in inventory management.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for storehouse operations.
- Utilize technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.




- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and stock movements.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, turnover, and discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast future needs and adjust ordering processes accordingly.
- Ensure that materials received meet quality standards and specifications.
- Address and resolve issues related to damaged or defective goods.
- Implement quality control procedures for materials handling and storage. Preferred candidate profile :
