Team members collaborate closely on shop-floor and design activities, contributing directly to customized solutions for client requirements. Role Description The Design and Costing Engineer will be responsible for developing and reviewing designs for CNC machined components and tools, ensuring manufacturability and adherence to customer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing material and process requirements, and optimizing designs for efficiency and quality. The role involves close coordination with production, procurement, and quality teams to validate designs, support quotations, and resolve technical issues during manufacturing. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Pune Division, requiring regular presence on the shop floor to understand processes,



gather data, and implement design improvements. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for developing practical, detailed component and tool designs.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise to understand machining processes, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing constraints.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for CNC manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering knowledge where applicable to integrated electro-mechanical assemblies or tooling requirements.
- Candidates should possess analytical and costing skills, including the ability to estimate labor, material, and machining time for quotations.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field are preferred.
- Experience working in CNC machining or precision manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office, collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and manage multiple projects and deadlines is required.
