Role & responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related machine issues.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and identify potential failures.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with the Production team to resolve machine breakdowns promptly.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance activities.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and plant maintenance standards.
- Maintain and improve preventive maintenance schedules.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine reliability and productivity. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC, automation, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Familiarity with maintenance documentation and ERP/CMMS systems.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing plant environment. Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / B.
E. / B.
Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Robust hands-on experience in plant machinery maintenance.
- Experience in handling breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and machine troubleshooting.
- Candidates with experience in a manufacturing/engineering setup will be preferred.
