The practice is led by a Chartered Accountant with Big Four and London experience. Purpose of the Role You will be a core member of our delivery team, responsible for the day-to-day accounting, reporting and audit support that our international clients rely on. You will work directly with the Principal, take ownership of assigned clients, and build the skills to run client engagements independently as the practice grows.

• Record and review transactions in the client's accounting system, with accurate coding, supporting documents and audit trail.
• Perform bank, ledger and intercompany reconciliations, and clear reconciling items promptly.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset registers and expense accounting.
• Process payroll accounting and related journals, and reconcile payroll liabilities.
• Maintain clean, complete books so that audits and tax filings can be done without rework. 2.
Financial reporting and MIS
• Run the month-end and quarter-end close to an agreed calendar, with a clear checklist.
• Prepare management accounts, MIS packs and KPI dashboards with variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
• Write concise commentary that explains what changed, why it changed, and what management should do about it.
• Support board and investor reporting, and prepare supporting schedules on request. 3. Cash flow, budgeting and planning
• Prepare and update cash flow projections and forecasts, and highlight liquidity risks early.
• Support budgets, working capital analysis and financial planning.
• Assist management with banking relationships, funding and fundraising-related financial workstreams. 4. CFO support and stakeholder coordination
• Act as the day-to-day finance contact for overseas management teams.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, local accountants and banks, and track open requests until closed.
• Review the data behind quarterly and tax filings prepared by local accountants, and flag errors or inconsistencies. 5. UK audit support
• Support planning, fieldwork and file completion on UK statutory audit engagements under ISA (UK) and FRC expectations.
• Prepare working papers, test samples and lead schedules, and document conclusions clearly.
• Work on judgemental areas such as management override of controls, share-based payments,

• Raise issues early, with the facts and a proposed way forward. 6. Indian statutory compliance
• Prepare and file, or review, GST returns, TDS deposits and returns, and income tax filings.
• Support company law (ROC) filings and maintain a compliance calendar so that nothing is filed late.
• Reconcile tax ledgers to returns and keep supporting working papers. 7. Quality and documentation

• Keep client information confidential and secure at all times. Qualifications and Experience Essential
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or ACCA member.
• At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in audit, accounting or finance.
• Solid command of double-entry accounting, reconciliations and period-end close.
