Role & responsibilities
- Conduct regular internal audits of retail stores, warehouses, and head office operations.
- Verify daily sales, cash collections, bank deposits, and cash balances.
- Audit POS billing, discounts, returns, refunds, and promotional transactions.
- Monitor inventory, stock movements, GRN, stock transfers, and physical stock verification.
- Identify stock discrepancies, wastage, pilferage, and process deviations.
- Verify purchase bills, vendor payments, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Review petty cash, expense claims, and store-level financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and company policies.
- Identify financial irregularities, operational risks, and control weaknesses.
- Prepare audit reports with observations, findings, and corrective action recommendations.




- Follow up with departments and store teams to ensure audit observations are closed.
- Conduct surprise audits and periodic compliance checks. Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in supermarkets, departmental stores, food retail, FMCG retail, fashion retail, or multi-outlet retail chains.
- Exposure to stock audits, cash audits, operational audits, and compliance audits.
