Experience:
Minimum 3 Years Specialization: Evaluation and Management (E/M) – Outpatient Coding

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented E/M OP Coder with a minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient medical coding. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of E/M coding guidelines and the ability to ensure accurate coding based on clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Review outpatient medical records and assign appropriate E/M codes.
- Accurately assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes based on clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with outpatient coding guidelines and industry standards.
- Identify documentation gaps and support coding accuracy.
- Participate in quality audits and implement feedback to improve coding performance.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines,



regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to applicable privacy regulations. Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in E/M Outpatient (OP) Coding .
- Strong knowledge of E/M coding guidelines, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM.
- Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation.
- Experience with coding software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- CPC certification or an equivalent coding certification is preferred.
