Job Summary We are looking for a responsible and result-oriented DC Manager to manage the complete day-to-day operations of our Fruits & Vegetables Distribution Centre. The candidate will be responsible for procurement coordination, inward operations, quality control, inventory management, sorting, grading, packing, dispatch, labour management and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have positive knowledge of perishable goods handling and experience in managing warehouse or distribution centre operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. DC Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end daily DC operations.
- Ensure timely opening and closing of the distribution centre.
- Plan and monitor daily inward and outward operations.
- Ensure smooth workflow across receiving, sorting, grading, packing and dispatch. 2. Inward & Quality Management
- Monitor incoming fruits and vegetables from farmers and suppliers.
- Check product quality, weight, quantity and freshness.
- Identify and report damaged, rotten and rejected materials.
- Maintain proper quality standards and minimize wastage. 3. Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor daily stock movement and inventory reconciliation.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
- Avoid stock shortages, excess inventory and product spoilage.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of perishable products. 4. Sorting, Grading & Packing
- Supervise sorting,



grading and packing activities.
- Ensure correct SKU-wise packing and labelling.
- Maintain packing material availability.
- Ensure order accuracy and minimize packing errors. 5. Dispatch & Logistics
- Plan daily dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers and delivery teams.
- Ensure orders are dispatched on time.
- Monitor loading, vehicle utilization and delivery documentation. 6. Labour & Team Management
- Manage warehouse workers and supervisors.
- Allocate manpower across different shifts.
- Monitor employee attendance, productivity and performance.
- Maintain discipline and workplace safety. 7. Cost & Wastage Control
- Control operational expenses.
- Monitor product wastage, shrinkage and damages.
- Improve labour productivity and operational efficiency.
- Maintain daily operational cost reports. 8. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily inward and outward reports.
- Maintain stock, wastage and rejection reports.
- Submit daily operational performance reports to management.
- Report operational issues and suggest improvements. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
