Role & responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging EVS (Environmental Studies) lessons for primary-grade students.
- Teach basic concepts related to plants, animals, human body, family, environment, nature, and surroundings.
- Develop students' curiosity, observation skills, and awareness of the environment through interactive teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, and classroom activities.
- Use storytelling, demonstrations, experiments, and hands-on activities to make learning interesting and effective.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage students to participate in group discussions, projects, nature-based activities, and practical learning.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide additional support wherever required.
- Maintain student records, attendance, assessment reports,



and academic documentation.
- Coordinate with parents and school management regarding students' academic progress and development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and other academic activities. Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline (B.

A. preferred).

Ed. / D.
El.
Ed. qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in Primary EVS is preferred.
- Valuable subject knowledge and understanding of primary-level teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to make lessons interactive, activity-based, and student-friendly.
- Passion for teaching and working with young children.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with digital teaching tools is an added advantage.
