- Supervise and manage daily housekeeping operations across all hospital areas, including wards, OPD, ICU, OT, emergency and common areas.
- Allocate duties, monitor attendance and manage housekeeping staff shifts.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation and disinfection as per hospital infection control protocols.
- Monitor washroom hygiene, biomedical waste segregation and disposal practices.
- Conduct regular rounds and ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene, safety and infection control.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, duty rosters, cleaning schedules and daily reports.
- Monitor housekeeping materials, chemicals and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with nursing, infection control, administration and other departments.
- Handle housekeeping-related complaints and ensure timely resolution.
