Fitting & Fabrication
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, layouts, and weld symbols.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal stock (MS, SS, etc.) using saws, torches, and grinders.
• Position, align, clamp, and tack-weld metal parts and subassemblies to ensure correct dimensions and clearances.
• Fabricate and repair structural supports, frames, tanks, and pipelines. Welding
• Perform arc, MIG (GMAW), TIG, or stick welding in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead) as required.
• Adjust machine voltage, amperage, and gas flow for optimal weld quality.
• Inspect finished welds visually for cracks, porosity, or distortion, and perform cleanup, grinding, or leak testing. Machine Operation
• Set up, adjust, and operate workshop/manufacturing machinery (such as presses, drills, boring, and cutting machines).
• Monitor machine output for accuracy, tolerances, and surface finish.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on tools and equipment. Safety & Quality




• Follow all plant safety guidelines, hot-work permits, and fire prevention protocols.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as welding helmets, gloves, and safety boots.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:
High school diploma, vocational training, or ITI certificate in fitter, welder, or machinist trades.
•

Experience:
2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial fabrication, welding, and machine operation.
• Technical

Skills:
• Blueprint and technical diagram reading.
• Proficiency in MIG/TIG/Arc welding techniques and machine setup.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Pay: ₹17,500.00
- ₹45,000.00 per month
