Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in cable design, cable construction and technical documentation. The candidate will be responsible for designing cable constructions, preparing technical calculations, BOMs, drawings, datasheets and customer approval documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Design cable constructions and prepare technical calculations, BOMs and technical offers.
- Prepare cable datasheets, compliance statements, test reports and inspection documents.
- Prepare technical drawings and customer/vendor approval documentation.
- Review customer specifications and coordinate with production, quality and sales teams.
- Maintain technical records, document revisions and ensure accuracy.
- Support customer queries,
inspections and testing documentation. Required
Skills:
- Hands-on experience in cable design and cable construction.
- Knowledge of LT AB, XLPE power cables or control cables.
- Experience in cable calculations, BOM preparation and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of applicable IEC/IS standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PDF documentation.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting tools is preferred.
- Positive written communication and attention to detail.
Education:
B.
E./B.
Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years to 5 years preferred. Industry: Cable Manufacturing / Electrical Equipment.
