Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of furnace operations, including charging, melting, and pouring processes.
- Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of foundry equipment such as arc furnaces, shot blasting machines, and mechanical metallurgy systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to metal processing and quality control.
- Develop and maintain documentation for process procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance schedules. Desired Candidate Profile
- 14-17 years of experience in foundry operations or a related field (metallurgy).
- Diploma/ITI degree in relevant trade (foundry operation) or equivalent qualification.
- Robust understanding of chemical processing techniques used in foundries; knowledge of mechanics an advantage.
- Familiarity with industry standards for safety regulations; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
