Role & responsibilities
- Develop CNC turning programs using 3D CAD/CAM software.
- Study and interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications.
- Prepare CNC programs for turning, facing, boring, grooving, threading, drilling, and profiling operations.
- Generate tool paths using Mastercam, NX, or equivalent CAM software.
- Select suitable cutting tools, inserts, tool holders, and machining parameters.
- Generate and verify CNC programs using G-code and M-code.
- Perform program simulation and collision detection before machining.
- Optimize machining cycles, tool paths, and cutting parameters.
- Plan machining sequences, workholding, and component setups.
- Support machine operators during setup and first-piece machining.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming and machining issues.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per drawing specifications.




- Coordinate with production and quality teams to maintain product quality and timely delivery. Required Skills
