Diploma / ITI Note: *Bike & Driving License Compulsory* Job Summary: We are looking for a Field Quality Engineer responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of smart meter installation activities at field locations. The candidate will conduct site inspections, verify installation as per company standards and technical guidelines, identify installation defects, and coordinate with installation teams to ensure corrective actions are completed.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular field visits to inspect smart meter installation activities at customer premises and designated sites.
- Ensure smart meter installations are carried out as per approved procedures, technical specifications, and quality standards.




- Inspect meter connections, wiring, terminal connections, sealing, earthing, and overall installation quality.
- Verify proper installation of single-phase and three-phase smart meters.
- Check meter display, functionality, communication connectivity, and data transmission wherever applicable.
- Identify installation defects, wiring issues, loose connections, incorrect meter configurations, and other quality deviations.
- Prepare inspection reports, quality checklists, and daily field quality reports.
- Coordinate with installation technicians, supervisors, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor rework and ensure corrective actions are implemented within the required timeline.
- Conduct quality audits and random inspections of completed installations.
- Maintain records of inspection findings, rejected installations, rework, and quality performance.
