JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Service Billing Engineer to manage project estimates, BOQs, quotations, client billing and site-related documentation. The role involves both office-based and site-based responsibilities, ensuring accurate measurements, cost calculations, material requirements and timely submission of bills and quotations. 2.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– BILLING & DOCUMENTATION
· Prepare client bills, RA bills and running account statements.
· Prepare and verify measurement sheets and quantity records.
· Maintain project-wise billing records and supporting documentation.
· Verify invoices, work orders and related billing documents.
· Coordinate with accounts and project teams for billing-related requirements. 3.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– ESTIMATION & BOQ
· Prepare detailed project cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
· Calculate material quantities, labour costs and overall project expenses.
· Review civil drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
· Prepare rate analysis, cost comparisons and quantity take-offs.
· Track project budgets and compare estimated costs with actual costs. 4.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– QUOTATION PREPARATION
· Prepare accurate and professional quotations for clients.
· Calculate material, labour, transportation and execution costs as applicable.
· Coordinate with vendors to obtain and verify material rates.




· Prepare comparative statements and revise quotations when required.
· Maintain quotation records and coordinate on submission and follow-up. 5. SITE & OFFICE COORDINATION
· Visit project sites for measurements, quantity verification and progress updates.
· Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers and project managers.
· Monitor site progress and material consumption against estimates.
· Collect site data and prepare reports for office and management review.
· Handle assigned on-site and off-site responsibilities as required. 6. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Strong knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals, construction materials and methods.
· Practical knowledge of BOQ, estimation, billing, measurement and rate analysis.
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD and interpretation of civil drawings.
· Advanced MS Excel and good working knowledge of MS Word.
· Knowledge of MS Project or similar project planning / management software.
· Understanding of GST, invoices, work orders and quotation formats. 7. CLOUD-BASED & AI TOOL SKILLS
· Ability to use cloud-based document storage and project record management platforms.
· Working knowledge of PPT, PDF, Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Docs and Drive.
· Familiarity with cloud-based project management, task tracking and reporting tools.




· Practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini for drafting, data analysis, reports and documentation.
· Ability to use digital collaboration tools and quickly learn new software. 8. REQUIRED SOFT SKILLS
· Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent communication and coordination skills.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good time management and ability to manage multiple assignments.
· Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with a team.
· Professional approach while communicating with clients and vendors. 9. KEY PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS (KPIS)
· Accuracy and timeliness of bills, BOQs, estimates and quotations.
· Accuracy of quantity calculations and site measurement records.
· Timely completion of site visits and submission of site data.
· Proper maintenance and updating of project documentation.
· Effective coordination with site, office, accounts and vendor teams.
· Reduction of estimation, billing and documentation errors. 10. PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE A Civil Engineering professional with practical knowledge of billing, estimation, BOQ and quotation preparation, capable of independently handling site measurements and office documentation. Candidates with strong Excel and AutoCAD skills, cloud-software familiarity and the ability to use AI tools for professional documentation will be preferred.

Salary:
₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on skills and relevant experience. Pay: ₹25,000.00
