1–2 Years Budget: ₹10–12 LPA Employment Type: Full time Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Statutory Audit Associate with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in statutory audits, preferably with a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm. The candidate must have practical experience auditing manufacturing-sector companies, with exposure to both listed and unlisted entities. The role involves supporting audit planning and execution, financial statement verification, vouching, ledger scrutiny, inventory verification, internal control assessment, and compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing statutory audits for manufacturing companies. Verify financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and supporting schedules. Perform vouching and verification of purchase, sales, expenses, revenue, and other financial transactions. Conduct ledger scrutiny, review journal entries, and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions. Verify manufacturing-related accounts, including inventory, raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, fixed assets, depreciation, and production expenses. Assist with inventory verification and assessment of inventory valuation methods. Review internal financial controls and evaluate control procedures related to financial reporting. Verify bank balances, reconciliations, receivables, payables, loans, provisions, and other balance sheet items. Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards (AS),



Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), and Standards on Auditing, as relevant. Prepare and maintain audit working papers, audit schedules, and supporting documentation. Identify audit observations, discrepancies, and potential risks and report findings to audit seniors or managers. Assist in preparing audit reports, management letters, and related documentation. Coordinate with client finance and accounts teams to obtain documents and clarifications. Ensure proper audit documentation and timely completion of assigned audit procedures. Support audit assignments involving both listed and unlisted companies. Required Skills and Qualifications 1–2 years of practical experience in statutory audits, preferably with a CA firm. Mandatory hands-on experience in statutory audits of manufacturing companies. Exposure to both listed and unlisted companies is mandatory. Strong understanding of audit procedures, vouching, verification, and ledger scrutiny. Knowledge of financial statement verification and financial reporting principles. Understanding of inventory valuation, fixed assets, depreciation, and manufacturing-related transactions. Familiarity with applicable Accounting Standards, Ind AS, and Standards on Auditing. Basic understanding of internal controls, audit evidence, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel and audit documentation tools. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and meet audit deadlines.
