8ole & responsibilities 1. Independently manage the organization's entire Direct and Indirect Taxation function, ensuring end-to-end statutory compliance and timely filing of returns. 2. Oversee GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, ITC management, and comprehensive reconciliations of GSTR-2A/2B, GSTR-3B, and books of accounts. 3. Manage TDS/TCS compliance, quarterly return filings, and reconciliations with Form 26AS, AIS, TIS, and accounting records. 4. Handle GST and Income Tax notices, scrutiny proceedings, departmental assessments, audits, and preparation of statutory submissions. 5. Coordinate with tax authorities, auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for timely resolution of taxation and compliance matters. 6. Conduct periodic accounting reviews, ledger scrutiny, transaction verification, and internal control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance. 7. Monitor statutory amendments and provide guidance to the Accounts and Finance teams on changes in tax laws and reporting requirements. 8. Identify and mitigate tax risks, resolve reconciliation discrepancies, and strengthen compliance processes and reporting controls.
