Role Description The Assistant Highway Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Dhanbad. This role involves supporting the design and development of highway and road infrastructure, including preparing drawings, layouts, and technical documentation under the guidance of senior engineers. The Assistant Highway Engineer will assist in conducting site assessments, feasibility reviews, and basic calculations to ensure design compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Daily tasks include coordinating with project teams, reviewing construction progress, contributing to quality checks, and assisting in resolving technical issues on site. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, participating in meetings,



and helping ensure that project timelines and safety protocols are followed. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Highway Design and Highway Engineering to support road geometry, alignment, and pavement design tasks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Civil Engineering Design to assist with structural, drainage, and general infrastructure layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Feasibility Studies and Infrastructure Projects to contribute to project planning, evaluation, and proposal development.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with design standards, codes, and highway specifications; basic proficiency with CAD or design software is preferred.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams, and adhere to safety and quality practices.
- Internship or prior exposure to highway or civil infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
