Vile Parle, Mumbai CTC: Up to ₹8.5 LPA Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualified JOB SUMMARY CNK & Associates LLP is looking for freshly qualified Chartered Accountants to join its Assurance team for a Statutory Audit role. The role involves working on statutory audit assignments, reviewing financial statements, examining accounting records, performing audit procedures, testing internal controls, and preparing audit documentation. The selected candidates will also gain exposure to client interactions, accounting standards, and statutory requirements while working closely with experienced Managers and Partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
AUDIT EXECUTION Assist in planning and executing statutory audit assignments. Understand client business processes and financial reporting systems. Perform audit procedures as assigned by the engagement team. Examine books of accounts, ledgers, schedules, and supporting documents. Perform substantive audit procedures and assist in testing financial statement balances and transactions. Perform analytical procedures and variance analysis. Assist in verification of assets, liabilities, income, and expenses. Prepare and maintain audit working papers. Identify unusual transactions or potential audit issues and escalate them to senior team members. FINANCIAL STATEMENT REVIEW Assist in reviewing financial statements. Check compliance with applicable accounting standards. Review disclosures and supporting schedules. Understand the linkage between financial statements, ledgers, and supporting documentation. Assist senior team members in resolving financial reporting and accounting queries. INTERNAL CONTROLS Understand client business processes and internal control environments.



Assist in walkthroughs and control testing. Document process understanding and control observations. Identify control gaps and communicate them to the senior team. Support internal financial control-related audit procedures. CLIENT INTERACTION Coordinate with client finance teams for audit-related information. Follow up on pending schedules and supporting documents. Participate in client discussions under the supervision of senior team members. Maintain professional communication with client stakeholders. CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY CA qualification is mandatory. Candidates must have successfully completed their Chartered Accountancy qualification. Freshly qualified Chartered Accountants are encouraged to apply. Candidates awaiting CA Final results will not be considered qualified for this requirement unless specifically approved by the employer. 0–1 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing concepts. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Robust academic and professional credentials will be preferred. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Develop practical knowledge of statutory audit and assurance. Build expertise in Ind AS and applicable Accounting Standards. Understand Standards on Auditing. Develop knowledge of the Companies Act and other relevant statutory requirements. Learn the organisation's audit methodology and documentation standards. Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS CTC up to ₹8.5 LPA. Prospect to work on statutory audit and assurance assignments.
