About The Role
At smallcase, we’re building products and infrastructure that make investing more accessible and seamless for millions of Indians. As a Product Manager, you’ll work across a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C products spanning investment solutions, subscription and payment experiences, and financial infrastructure. Our product ecosystem includes platforms that empower investment professionals to productise their research, scale their practice, and manage client relationships, alongside infrastructure that enables fintech and wealth platforms to integrate investing and credit capabilities into their products. From simplifying investor communication, reporting, fee collection, and subscription management to building APIs and SDKs that connect platforms with brokers, Research Analysts, NBFCs, and banks, you’ll have the opportunity to solve complex problems across the investment lifecycle. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across products at different stages of maturity—from taking new ideas from 0 to 1 to scaling established platforms from 1 to 10 and beyond—while operating at the intersection of fintech, technology, and consumer investing experiences. - Own the product strategy and roadmap for Gateway APIs, SDKs,



Managers platform capabilities, and partner experiences.
- Identify user and business needs, conduct research, and develop scalable, first-principles solutions.
- Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritisation to specifications, execution, launch, and iteration.
- Build and improve financial workflows, including securities transactions, holdings import, investment tracking, and account opening.
- Partner with engineering, business, and external stakeholders to deliver seamless integrations and improve partner adoption.
- Define product requirements, user journeys, and success metrics while analysing data to identify friction points and optimisation opportunities.
- Improve developer experience, platform reliability, and operational efficiency through better APIs, SDKs, documentation, and automation.
- Collaborate with design, compliance, legal, and risk teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and compliant products. What We Look For In You
- Experience building platform, marketplace, API-first, or developer-focused products, preferably in fintech or financial services.
- Conceptual understanding of APIs, webhooks, SDKs, authentication, and system integrations.
- Strong product thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Understanding of UI/UX and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive product experiences.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with engineering teams and external partners.
- High ownership, sound prioritisation, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Workplace: This role is based in our Bangalore office and will require 3 days weekly in the office, with flexibility for 2 remote days each week
