Machines Available at PPTWe are seeking skilled CNC operators with hands-on experience operating one or more of the following machines at our manufacturing facilities.

Important: Candidates are not required to have experience on all five machines. Experience with at least one relevant machine category is acceptable. Candidates with multi-machine operating or setup experience will receive preference.

- Key Responsibilities1. CNC Machine Operation Operate assigned CNC turning, milling, or grinding machines according to production schedules.
- Set up jobs using approved programs, machining drawings, tools, fixtures, and work holding arrangements.
- Perform machine startup, tool offset adjustments, job changeovers,



and first-piece verification.
- Monitor cutting parameters, surface finish, dimensions, and machine performance.
- Identify tool wear, abnormal vibration, machining defects, and operational issues.
- Maintain consistent machining quality while minimizing rejection and downtime.
- 2. Precision Machining & Quality Control Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing specifications.
- Measure finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Perform in-process inspections and dimensional checks.
- Ensure components meet required dimensional accuracy and surface finish standards.
- Record inspection results and report nonconforming components to the supervisor.
- 3. Production Efficiency Achieve assigned daily production and machining targets.
- Monitor machining cycle times and reduce unnecessary idle time.
- Maintain accurate production, downtime, and rejection records.
- Coordinate with production engineers, programmers, and quality inspectors.
- Support improvements in machining efficiency, setup time, and tool life.
- 4. Machine Maintenance & Safety Conduct daily machine inspections and basic operator-level preventive maintenance.
- Check coolant levels, lubrication, tooling condition, and workholding security.
- Follow machine safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards.




- Report machine breakdowns or abnormal operating conditions immediately.
- Follow lockout and maintenance authorization procedures before performing any work requiring machine isolation.

Qualification Requirements

Education

- ITI in Machinist, Turner, Fitter, or relevant trade; or
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.

Technical Experience

- Minimum 2 years of practical CNC machine operation preferred.
- Experience in CNC turning, VMC, HMC, cylindrical grinding, or surface grinding.
- Ability to understand machining drawings and dimensional tolerances.
- Familiarity with CNC controllers, tool offsets, machining parameters, and inspection methods.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, work holding methods, and machine safety.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or equivalent CNC control systems.
- Ability to perform independent machine setup and job changeover.
- Basic CNC program reading and troubleshooting.
- Experience manufacturing precision mechanical components in batch production.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality processes.
