Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Operations Management

- Lead and manage end-to-end cable manufacturing operations.
- Ensure achievement of production plans, output targets, and customer delivery commitments.
- Optimize plant capacity utilization and resource deployment.
- Monitor daily production performance and take corrective actions to address bottlenecks.

Process Excellence &

- Productivity

- Drive productivity improvement initiatives across cable manufacturing processes.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, and Cost Optimization projects.
- Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and reduce operational losses.
- Monitor machine efficiencies, cycle times, and production yields.

Quality Management

- Ensure adherence to product specifications, BIS, IS, IEC, and customer quality standards.
- Drive reduction in rejections, rework, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead root cause analysis for major quality concerns.

Team Leadership &

- Development

- Lead production managers, engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor teams.
- Develop succession planning and capability-building initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.




- Conduct periodic performance reviews and skill development programs.

Cost &

- Budget Management

- Manage departmental budgets and operational costs.
- Drive raw material yield improvement and wastage reduction initiatives.
- Monitor manufacturing cost KPIs and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and utilities.

Maintenance &

- Reliability

- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure high equipment availability.
- Review preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
- Minimize breakdowns and improve plant reliability.
- Support CAPEX planning and implementation of new equipment.

Safety, Health &

- Environment

- Ensure compliance with all EHS policies and statutory requirements.
- Lead safety initiatives and conduct periodic safety reviews.
- Promote a zero-accident culture within the department.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Collaborate with Planning, Quality, SCM, Procurement, R&D;, and Commercial teams.
- Support current product development and product qualification activities.
- Ensure seamless execution of customer requirements and production priorities.
