We're hiring: Director Operations | Effingut Breweries | Pune
Effingut is one of India's fastest-growing craft beer businesses, with a turnover of ₹120 Cr, a production brewery and 16 brew pubs and retail outlets across the country, with 4 more on the way. As we scale towards ₹300 Cr and a public listing, we are looking for a Director Operations to join our leadership team and build the operating engine behind that growth.
What you will do
- Lead and motivate a large operations team across outlets and geographies
- Drive sales, guest experience and outlet profitability across all pubs and retail outlets
- Set up, own and enforce SOPs and systems so every outlet delivers consistently
- Build strong operating rhythms: reviews, audits, dashboards and accountability at every level
- Lead the opening and stabilisation of new outlets, with 4 more in the pipeline
- Develop a deep bench of area managers, outlet heads and chefs
- Partner with the CEO and CFO on budgets, unit economics and IPO readiness
Must haves
- 20+ years of experience in the restaurant industry,
of which at least 5 years in a leadership role as an operations head
- Qualified in hotel management
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of restaurant and pub operations
- Proven track record of leading teams across diverse geographies in India
- Structured thinker with experience in setting up systems and processes that help a business scale
- Strong people leader who keeps teams performing and motivated
Good to have
- Experience in multi-outlet pubs, bars or brewery-led hospitality
- Exposure to a business preparing for an IPO
