Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for guiding students through the entire process of planning and applying for international higher education. In this role, the advisor supports students in identifying suitable programs and destinations, explains scholarship and grant opportunities, and assists in building competitive profiles aligned with Standyou’s data-driven recommendations. The advisor conducts one-on-one counseling sessions, reviews academic and personal backgrounds, and helps students prepare application materials, including statements, documents,



and forms.

The role also involves coordinating with scholarship consultants, providing clear information on admission requirements and visa processes, and maintaining accurate records in the platform.

The Study Abroad

Advisor collaborates with internal teams to ensure a smooth experience for students and contributes to continuous improvement of advising practices and resources.

Qualifications

- Strong Educational Consulting skills, including knowledge of international higher education systems and scholarship pathways.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication abilities to conduct clear, empathetic, and effective student counseling sessions.
- Familiarity with Visas and related procedures for study abroad, including documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Consulting skills to interpret data-driven insights, tailor guidance to individual student profiles, and recommend best-fit programs and funding options.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Counseling, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
- Experience in study abroad advising, student counseling, or educational services, preferably in an international or scholarship-focused context.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, manage multiple student cases simultaneously, and maintain accurate records and follow-up actions.
- Proficiency with digital platforms, CRM or student management tools, and basic data analysis for decision-making; robust organizational and time-management skills.
