Role Description The Sr. Plant 3D Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role involves developing, updating, and managing detailed 3D plant models, including equipment layouts, piping, structural elements, and instrumentation.

The Sr. Plant 3D Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to review design inputs, ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes, and prepare accurate drawings and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with plant operations and maintenance teams, resolving design and layout issues,



supporting troubleshooting activities, and optimizing plant configurations for safety, reliability, and performance.

The person in this role will also participate in design reviews, support construction and commissioning teams with as-built updates, and contribute to continuous improvement of plant engineering standards and workflows.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Plant Engineering and Plant Operations, with the ability to interpret and develop detailed 3D plant layouts and piping arrangements.
- Experience with Plant Maintenance and Troubleshooting, supporting operational teams in resolving design-related issues and improving equipment reliability.
- Knowledge of Power Generation systems, including major equipment, auxiliaries, and related processes, to ensure robust and efficient plant designs.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD/Plant design software (such as AutoCAD Plant 3D or equivalent) and familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in industries such as energy, oil and gas, process, or infrastructure is an advantage, along with exposure to simulation or structural analysis environments.
