Purnam is a sports, health and wellness talent and brand marketing agency based in Mumbai. We manage professional athletes and wellness experts, and we work with sports IPs, events and leagues to bring the right brands on board.

The role in one line

You’ll bring brands on board for the athletes and sports IPs we manage, including HYROX, IRONMAN and similar events. You’ll also make sure those partnerships are delivered well on the ground.

What you’ll actually do

1. Athlete partnerships

- Find brands that suit each athlete on our roster (sportswear, nutrition, wellness, fitness, lifestyle and more)
- Reach out to brand and marketing teams through email, LinkedIn, calls and meetings
- Pitch athletes with decks, profiles and partnership ideas
- Work with our talent team on deal terms and deliverables, and see deals through to signing

2. Sports IP partnerships

- Find sponsors and brand partners for the events and IPs we manage
- Pitch sponsorship packages such as title partnerships, category partnerships, on-ground presence and digital integrations
- Build relationships with brands that want to reach active, fitness-focused audiences




- Coordinate with the IP owners and our team so that what we sell is what gets delivered

3. On-ground execution

- Be present at events and activations to make sure every brand deliverable is executed as promised
- Coordinate with brands, athletes, IP organisers and vendors on the day
- Handle on-ground setups such as branding, sampling, booths and athlete appearances
- Capture proof of execution (photos, videos, reports) and share post-event reports with brands

4. Pipeline and reporting

- Build and maintain a list of target brands and decision-makers
- Track every lead, follow-up and deal in our pipeline
- Share weekly updates on outreach, meetings, deals in progress and executions

What a typical week looks like Researching brands, sending outreach, following up, getting on calls with marketing teams, and tailoring pitch decks. Some weekends you’ll be at an event, a race or an activation, making sure partners get what they signed up for.
