Role Description The Owner role at YBI Foundation is a full-time, in office position based in Gorakhpur. The Owner oversees the overall strategy, operations, and growth of the foundation, ensuring alignment with its educational and social impact mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing program development in emerging technologies, building and maintaining partnerships with institutions and industry stakeholders, and supervising teams to deliver high-quality learner support and training outcomes.

The role involves managing budgets and resources, monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations for not-for-profit entities, and representing the foundation in community, academic, and industry forums. The Owner is also expected to identify new opportunities for outreach, fundraising, and impact, and foster a culture of ethical practice, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills to guide a not-for-profit educational organization.




- Proven experience in education, training, or social impact initiatives, preferably with exposure to emerging technologies or skill development programs.
- Financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation abilities suitable for overseeing organizational operations.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills for working with institutions, industry partners, and community organizations.
- Experience in governance, compliance, and policy implementation for not-for-profit or similar entities.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and promote a collaborative and learner-centered culture.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Education, Social Work, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Commitment to inclusive education, ethical practices, and long-term community development.
