Role Description As a Motion Designer at Superfan.ng, you will create engaging motion graphics and animations that bring African languages and cultural content to life across the platform. You will translate concepts and scripts into storyboards, design animated sequences for product interfaces, quizzes, social content, and marketing campaigns, and collaborate closely with designers, writers, and product teams to maintain a consistent visual style. You will handle end-to-end video production for short-form educational and promotional content, including asset creation, animation, and basic sound integration.

This is a full-time,



remote role, requiring effective time management, clear communication, and the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback.

Qualifications

- Strong Motion Design and Motion Graphics skills, with a portfolio showcasing digital product and content work.
- Hands-on experience with Animation and Storyboarding, from concept development to final animated sequences.
- Practical experience in Video Production, including editing, asset organization, and optimizing content for digital platforms.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent motion/animation software).
- Ability to adapt visual styles to fit educational, gamified, and culturally rich content for diverse audiences.
- Strong visual storytelling, typography, and layout skills, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Comfort working in a remote, team-oriented environment, with clear communication and reliable self-management.
- Understanding of or interest in African languages and cultures is highly beneficial; experience in edtech or gaming is a plus.
